Technology is an integral part of education at MVP. Teachers and students utilize various technological resources throughout the school year, that help to enhance the academic experience. Each classroom is fitted with a 55' SMART board that allows for students to engage in a 21st century learning environment.
Students in the 6th grade meet once a week in the computer lab for instruction on Achieve3000. This program provides a cloud-based platform that deliver daily differentiated instruction for nonfiction reading and writing that’s precisely tailored to each student’s Lexile reading level.
Students in the 7th and 8th grades receive a school-issued Windows tablet that they use to assist in their learning. Each student is required to sign a user agreement that outlines the expectations and proper usage of technology at MVP.
Teachers also use the computer lab to work on special projects and online learning programs with their students.
